With his charismatic stage presence and passion for championing diverse voices, American conductor, Nathaniel Meyer has electrified audiences, bringing classical music to life with haunting virtuosity. The Boston Globe has praised him as "outstanding" and he has been described as “a new, dynamic Leonard Bernstein". Nathaniel was the first prize winner at the prestigious LaGuardia Conducting Competition, and has gone on to conduct across Europe and the Americas. He has conducted in France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Romania, South America, and throughout the United States. Some of the orchestras he’s worked with are the Hungarian National Symphony Orchestra, the Bucharest Symphony, the Paris Mozart Orchestra, the Prague Philharmonia, the Concord Orchestra, and the MetroWest Symphony. His journey includes studies at top institutions like Yale, masterclasses and apprenticeships with European master conductors and accolades as a trumpet virtuoso. Currently, Nathaniel is the music director of Coro-Dante, the Italian opera chorus in residence at the Dante Alighieri Society in Cambridge, MA.
